If your provided references are found to be AI generated, your commission will either be declined (if not paid yet) or cancelled (if paid) with a 75% non-refundable deposit held.

Commissions may not be used for AI training in any capacity. If found to be used as such, your art will be shifted to a commercial rights project, and the commercial rights fee (ranging from $500-$2,000, depending on complexity and artist's insight) will be billed to you accordingly. Failure to pay said fee will result in legal action.

If found to be using generative AI in any capacity, note that you will be blacklisted and barred from ordering commissions from Cosmos going forward.

Full amount is due at the time of order. If a payment plan is agreed upon beforehand, please note that no work will be completed until the full payment amount is made.

If commission has not been started but payment has been made in full and customer requests a refund, 50% will be kept as a non-refundable deposit for artist's time and admin fees.

Commission references generated by AI will not be accepted under any circumstances. 50% refund will be retained as fee and commission will be cancelled.

Turnaround time is currently 4 weeks or less, unless otherwise discussed. An urgency up-charge can be discussed if needed before 4 weeks time.

A sketch approval will be sent to the client via the communication method used to initiate the commission before moving onto lineart. If client does not confirm sketch within 36 hours from the time it is sent, the artist has the right to continue with commission without additional feedback. If any revision is needed after this point, the next corresponding revision fee will be applied.

Once sketch is approved by client, lineart and flat colors will be done. Once completed, an approval will be sent to the client to check for any inaccuracies. If client does not confirm flat color stage within 36 hours from the time it is sent, the artist has the right to complete the commission without additional feedback. If any revision is needed after this point, the next corresponding revision fee will be applied.

Upon completion, the client will receive a watermarked version of their commission for sharing/social media purposes. If a non-watermarked version is requested, it is understood this is for personal use only. If found to be used for commercial purposes or otherwise, customer will be charged an additional fine of no less than $2,000 for failure to disclose intent upon purchase. Failure to pay said fee will result in legal action. If final art is asked to be sent via email, please notify Cosmos within 24 hours of receiving the final product and a copy will be sent via email.

Commissions may be worked on during Twitch streams. You are welcome to visit and watch, but please be sure to adhere by the stream's rules when engaging in chat. If you would rather this not be done on stream, please note that there may be a delay in getting your order delivered to you, as this is time Cosmos uses regularly to get commission work done.

During SKETCH phase: 2 revisions done for FREE. Each revision after will incur a $15 per item charge.

During LINE ART phase: $25 charge per item per revision (outside of any obvious mistranslation from sketch to line art)

During FLAT COLOR & SHADING phases: $50 charge per item per revision (outside of basic color correction.)

Verbal, discriminatory, or otherwise similar abuse towards the artist is not tolerated. If this behaviour is exhibited, your commission will either be declined (if not paid yet) or cancelled (if paid) with a 50% non-refundable deposit held for artist's time and admin fees.

References must be provided of the character in question, or a character creation fee of $100 will be applied to the commission total. Please no more than 3 references max of each character being drawn.

150 words max description of desired commission (character(s) description(s), poses, expressions, background desired, etc) total, as otherwise, this gets overwhelming for the artist and leaves little room for artistic freedom.

You cannot change your commission request once payment has been received and work had been started.

You may repost your completed commission online or on social media with credit.

Commissions may not be used for AI training under ANY circumstance.

If design is to be used for commercial use, this must be disclosed before project begins. If the request is made after, an additional release fee will be invoiced to pay for full rights. Please note, you do not have legal permission to share/use commercially until this release fee is paid.

I have the right to refuse any commission for any reason.

Commissions will be completed by their stated deadlines, but do not need to be completed on a first-come, first-serve basis. This allows for smooth flow and optimal creative output.

All preparation materials, visuals, and sketches, including all electronic files, used to create the project remain the property CosmosSketcher.
